With 58.9% of the vote, table games were overwhelmingly approved in Jefferson County yesterday. It was truly a great day for Jefferson County and West Virginia. Thank you to everyone who supported the cause. It was very much a team effort of local citizens and it was a pleasure to be involved such great folks. I’d like to encourage you all to stay involved with Jefferson County. Volunteer on your local nonprofit boards and get appointed to local government boards and commissions. We can all come together to continue to make Jefferson County the special place that it is. We can work together on economic development and land use issues to assure progress is made. I look forward to working with you all on these issues going forward.
